Yanely Aguilar
As a Cuban-American, born and raised in South Florida, Yanely has always been fascinated by color, florals, and fantasy. Her love for storytelling and character design, from complex fantasy adventure stories to simple vignette illustrations, has come to shape her work.
In Yanely Aguilar’s work you will notice bright and bold colors, fluid and weighty linework, and dynamic and energetic compositions. Femininity and nature are common subjects in her illustrations, stemming from her experiences as a woman and her love for botanicals and wildlife. She is often inspired by popular culture, including; anime, comics, novels, animation, and other storytelling media.
Yanely is proficient in and utilizes Adobe Photoshop to create her character focused digital illustrations.
